For those of you who remember Stephen Clark's Engineering Company in Alva, it has moved to Alloa and most of the buildings have been demolished.

Stephen Clark's old works have now been demolished. The old house, above, is reputed to be the first two storey house in Alva. It also had a small cinema probably about 15 years ago or more. There was a small cottage at the other side of it until a few years ago. The building behind is that of Alva Gold Club.
