David Crawford
(1873-1946)
David Crawford was
born 1st February 1873 in 41 Whitelaw Street, Maryhill, Glasgow, and died 24th
March 1946 in 58 Lennox Avenue, Milngavie. He married Margaret Major 10th
November 1893 in Black Bull Hall, Milngavie, daughter of Joseph Major and Sarah
Park. She was born 6 April 1865 in Highland Row, New Kilpatrick.
David was the younger twin with his brother
Thomas.
He was at 153 Main Street, Maryhill in 1881 and at 1 Argyle Street, Maryhill in
1891 which was the home of an older brother
James,
when he was a miner. He was later at
28 Reid Street, Maryhill in
1905.
When he married in 1899 he lived at 36 Argyle
Street, Maryhill and was a Cement Works Labourer. He was a retired labourer when
he died just a few weeks before his twin brother. David was buried 26 March
1946, Plot N425, New Kilpatrick Cemetery, Bearsden. Margaret was a domestic
servant and lived at 2 Argyle Lane, Maryhill when they married.

have been found.

April 1903, 34 Reid Street, Maryhill, Glasgow and died 10th October
1996, 4 Clobber Rd, Milngavie.
John Crawford was born
7th August 1897, 1 Argyle Street,
Maryhill, Glasgow and died 7th
February 1898, 1 Argyle Street, Maryhill, Glasgow.
