The Dalrymple Alterations

Some of the family files have not yet been linked. This is due to updating the site and adding new material. Please be patient as the alterations are made.

Some of the pages will not open correctly or may have some rather 'odd stuff' on them. I know about these and they are being changed, corrected and altered. Please be patient.

Dalrymple Family of Alloa

This web site follows the Dalrymple's in Alloa through their meanderings from elsewhere to somewhere else!

Thanks go to Janet Dalrymple and James Whitehouse for the additional information. I have lost contact with them and would very much like to re-establish e-mail links. They supplied most of the photographs.

There was a rope maker's in Sunnyside, Alloa who were originally from Leith.

Another family of Dalrymple's from Fife also migrated through to Alloa.

In Alva, there was a chip shop/cafe owned by a Mrs Dalrymple.
