Meiklejohn was born 1896 in Stockton and died 29th May 1935
at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Alloa. The photograph is of Margaret with
her husband and two daughters, Margaret and Dora.

Margaret came
to Scotland with her siblings and was looked after by a maiden aunt. She was
known as Cissy by her family.
On the 25 Apr
1919 she married George Wright Paterson at Walker Terrace, Tillicoultry. He
was the son of John Paterson and Margaret Haig. He was born 24th February
1888 in Bridge Place, Alva and died 1965 in Cleveland, England.
In 1919
Margaret was a mill worker and lived at 22 Park Street, Tillicoultry. George
was a coal miner.
