Meiklejohn's
The first lines are not
confirmed but seem to fit from the information that is available. I have
suggested that Robert and Mary McQueen are the parents of David Meiklejohn but
his parents could just as easily be John and Jean Hegg. The latter might be more
likely candidates as David's children's names would be more in keeping with the
way the children would be named. Unless something else turns up to dispute or
confirm this, I will leave it as it appears, for the moment.

Perthshire.

after 1802. He married Christian Scotland.
James Meiklejohn was
born 27 October 1768 and christened 31 January 1768 at Tulliallan.
