Family History

The Inch Family - this family has not yet been verified by me. It is included here as a possibility due to Mary Ann Inch. It IS known that she was born about 1808 at St Neots and the ONLY christening which would fit for her was in 1808 at St Neots and these are the parents names for that child.

Although this is ONLY a POSSIBILITY it is based on some known information. Also the name Harriet fallows through some of the family.

Mary Ann also had a daughter called Jane Inch Williams which makes me suspect that she was named after Mary's mother Jane (Batt) Inch.

William Inch

William Inch was Christened on the 26th June 1768 at St Breward, Cornwall. He married Jane Batt on the 22nd July 1799 at Stoke Damerel, Devon.

Children of William Inch and Jane Batt are:

Josiah Inch, Christened on the 1st April 1804 at St Neots, Cornwall. He MIGHT have married Sarah Rablin on the 18th June 1837 at Cambourne, Cornwall.

Tomasin Inch was Christened on the 5th January 1806 at St Neots.

Mary Ann Inch was Christened on the 17th April 1808 at St Neots.

William Inch was Christened on the 5th April 1812 at St Neots.

Maria Inch was Christened on the 23rd January 1814 at St Neots.

Harriet Inch was born between 1811-1816 at St Neots. She married William Horrell on the 28th May 1836 at St Germans. Both Harriet and her sister Mary Ann, married in St Germans.

Sarah Williams was born in 1839 at Berry Cottage, St Germans. her elder sister is also there in 1841. This was where Harriet Inch and her husband William Horrell lived in 1841.
