John Goff or Goffe was
Christened 3rd March
1839, Halstock, Dorset and died in 1876 in
Dorchester. He was the son of George and Sarah
Goff.
He married Anna Maria Upshall in 1863 in
Dorchester. She was born about 1839 in Woodford,
Dorset, and died after 2nd April 1871.
John was at Halstock, Dorset in 1851 with his
parents then in 1861 he was at Cottage, Higher
Kingston, Stinsford, Dorset and working as an
agricultural labourer. In 1871 he was at 1 West
Field Farm, East Coker, Somerset and a Carter.
John Goff adn Anna Upshall had the following
children:-
Sarah A Goff, born about 1864 at
Friars Waddon, Dorset and died after 30th
March 1881.
Alice B Goff was born about 1869
at East Pennaro Somerset and died after 2nf
April 1871.
Alfred T Goff was born about March
1871 at Chetreol Dorset and died after 30th
March 1881.
Thomas G Goff was born about 1876
at Melbury Bubb, Dorset and died after 30th
March 1881.
