Family History

The Knight Family - the first family members as far back as has been researched so far. The family were at Cornwall for many generations but then one ended up in Weymouth, Dorset which is how this family are linked to the Goff and Porter families.

James Knight 1767-

James Knight was christened 14th January 1767 in Roche, Cornwall. He married Philipa Hooper 25th June 1788 in St Austell.

Elizabeth Knight, christened 18th Jan. 1789

Eleanor Knight, christened 10th April 1791.

Mary Ann Knight, christened 6th January 1793.

Philipa Knight, christened 14th September 1794.

James Knight, christened 15 January 1797.

Jane Knight, christened 19 May 1799.

Nancy Knight, christened 15 Mar 1801.

Anthony Knight, christened 14 November 1802.

William Knight christened 23 February 1806.
