William
Thomas Isaac was born 18th July 1894 in Chickerell, Weymouth,
Dorset. He was the son of Thomas Isaac and
Sarah Anne Porter. He died
on the 5th June 1970 at James Hospital, Dorchester,
Dorset. His usual residence at the time was 2 Litchfield
Road, Weymouth. He married Tamar Meech in 24th
December 1923 in
the Parish Church, in the Parish of St Paul, Weymouth. She was the daughter of Frederick George Meech & Emily Meech. (Frederick was a green grocer of 3 Myrtle
Cottage, Weymouth, Dorset).
In 1901 William
was with his parents at Monte Video, Chickerell,
Weymouth and was still in Chickerell in 1944. Tamar
Meech was residing at 71 South View, Road, Chickerell on
the 24th December 1923. William was a gardener and lived
at Chickerell. On the 16th December 1922, William was
living at Monte Video Cottage, Chickerell and he
registered his father's death.
The witnesses
at William's marriage were Frederick George Meech,
Tamar's father; and Alfred James Knight, his
brother-in-law. He was probably the witness due to
Thomas Isaac being deceased.

Thomas M Isaac, born 1924, Weymouth and died
18th February 1944 at Anzio, Italy. He is buried at
Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio II. A. 12. He was in
the Royal Fusiliers
(City of London
Regt.) 8th Bn. Fusilier 14558772. He was never
married.
John Allen
Isaac, born 9th May 1927, Monte Video Cottage,
Chickerell, Weymouth. He registered his
father's death on the 5th June 1970 and lived at 2
Litchfield Road, Weymouth. He was never married and
has no children. The Isaac name died out with him.
