James Robert Stevenson

(1879-1970)

 

James Robert Stevenson was born about 1879 at Forteviot, Perth, Scotland. He died 2nd March 1969 at Bridge of Earn Hospital, Perthshire. He is buried next to his parents in Lair 46, Arngask Cemetery, Glenfarg. No date for his burial was given.

Between 1921 and 1923 he was a Clerk with Hay & Co. Ltd, auctioneers Perth. He must have been in this business most of his adult life and was down as Livestock auctioneer, retired, when he died. From at least 1933 until his death he lived at Hillwood, Glenfarg. He was never married and had no issue.

He actually had a car registered 26th June 1917  until 26th June 1918.
