George Stevenson
The following information is ONLY a
POSSIBILITY.
I have added this here in case
it turns out to be correct. I am hoping that someone can make a connection to
this family and either prove or disprove that this is the correct George
Stevenson.
I do not normally add
information that has not been verified but I have decided to add this in the
hope that Some one will pick up on it.
If this turns out NOT to be
correct it will be removed.
I know that George had a son
called George from the legal documents which I have found. I also know from
these that George was at 1112 Third Avenue, New York, USA about 1911. I have
searched as many NY census documents as I can and this is the only one which
might fit due to the place and occupation as well as place of birth. I have no
idea of when George was born but the information here is from the 1900 census
for New York.
George
Stevenson
was born
about April 1866 in Ireland, and died Aft. 07 July 1911. He married Lena about
1896 in New York. She was born about June 1870 in Ireland.
Census: 06 June 1900, 3rd Ave, Manhattan, New York and
his immigration to USA was 1885. Lena immigrated to USA in 1892.
Children of George Stevenson and Lena are:
Harry Stevenson, born about March 1898, New
York
Emma Stevenson, born about March 1900, New
York.
No further information has been found. I
have not been able to find them on any further records.
