Mary Ellison Stevenson

Mary Ellison Stevenson was born about 1859 in Belfast, Ireland and died sometime after 5th January 1900. She married Thomas Arthur Marsden in the June quarter of 1893 in Liverpool. He was born about 1854 in Dewsbury, Yorkshire and died about 3rd January 1900. He is buried in Anfield Cemetery, Liverpool on the 5th January 1900.

At the time of his death, Thomas Marsden resided at 5 Tithebarn Street, Liverpool. In 1901 Mary is a widow and living at 18 Union Street, Liverpool. She worked as an office caretaker.

Mary was the holder of the deeds to the grave plot at Anfield Cemetery where her mother, husband and two brothers were buried. Along with then is a child, Rennie B Stevenson aged 11 and buried 27th May 1926. His residence was at 38 Alexandra Road, Great Crosby on this date. It is not known who this child belonged to.

Nothing more is know about Mary to date 12th May 2005.

It is now known that Rennie was Mary's nephew's son, i.e. her brother Charles grandson.
