She was born 18 September 1841 in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia, and died 26 March 1929.
George Hogarth Pringle was a well known Sydney surgeon. He was buried at sea. George and Annie had the following children:- James Hogarth Pringle was born about 1863 at Paramatta, New South Wales, Australia. He died 24 April 1941, Whiteflat, Killearn. He married Ethelmay Christie on 30 April 1917, St Mary's Cathedral, Glasgow. On the 1881 census he was residing at Cleithaugh, Southdean, Roxburgh whilst he was a medical student. He was educated at Berlin, Vienna and Heidelberg as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow and London and graduated from Edinburgh University in 1885. His occupation on 30 April 1917 was a Surgeon and he was residing at 172 Bath Street, Glasgow Between 1896 - 1923, he was appointed surgeon to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. In1899 he was appointed Fellow of the Royal Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. In 1910 he published, 'Fractures and their Treatment'. By 20 March 1930, they had moved to Hyndlee, Peebles. James died from Basal Pnuemonia and he had suffered Pernicious Aneamia for several years. After House Surgeon’s posts in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, he made a European Grand Tour and studied further in Berlin, Vienna and Heidelberg. He returned to Glasgow and by 1888 was assisting William Macewen (1848-1924). In 1896 he was appointed surgeon to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, a post which he held until his retirement in 1923. He became a Fellow of the Royal Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1899 and was Visitor from 1923 to 1924. His book ‘Fractures and their Treatment’ appeared in 1910 and was one of the first to be based on treatment with radiological control. He died in 1941. David Pringle was born 12 October 1839 in Southdean, Roxburgh He married Jane G. ?. She was born about 1857 in Glasgow, Lanark. In 1881 he lived at Cleithaugh, Southdean, Roxburgh and was a Farmer 6000 acres, 600 arable, Employing 12 men, 5 women, 2 boys.
