Stevenson Halliday
was born 1881 at Manchester. In 1881 he is with his
parents at 79 Grosvenor Street, Chorlton on Medlock, Lancashire and then in
at 41 High Ardwick, Manchester in 1891. In 1901 he is at Grove House,
Cheadle, Chester and was employed as a clerk.
This page is purely speculation on my part from this point onwards.
He might have married Helena Mary Carnochan in 1910 at
Birkenhead.

In 1911 there is indeed a Stevenson Halliday whow as born
in 1881 at Manchester, listed and residing in Birkenhead.
 There is also a reference to him on medal records for WW1
haveing been in service as a 2nd Lieut. Royal
Welsh Fusiliers, Attd R Ir Fus. His address on the medal records is 30 Rocky
Bank Road, Devonshire Park, Birkenhead.
