James Wyle/Whild/Wild
James Wyle christened 24 September 1848 in
Shalbourne, Wiltshire. He married Louisa Hendy/Hindy
18 November 1871 in Parish Church, Shalbourne,
Wilts, daughter of John Hendy/Hindy and Alice
Lovelock.
She was born about 1837 in Mildenhall,
Marlborough, Wiltshire.
As can be seen from this
baptism record, he was recorded as Wild.
On
all the censuses he remained at Shalbourne and
in 1891 the address was actually listed as 48
Shalbourne Street, Shalbourne, Wiltshire.
It is also listed on different censuses as being
in Berkshire and in Wiltshire.In 1871 there is
no occuption given but in 1881 and 1891 he is an
agricultural labourer and in 1901 a carter on a
farm.
Louisa Hindy had a daughter called Jennette or
Janet Hindy or Hendy in 1870 in Shalbourne. In
1881 this daughter was at Besons Farm,
Shalbourne, Berkshire.

Rachel Alice Wyle or
Wyld born about 1872 at Shalbourne, Wiltshire.
She was a servant at 130 High Street,
Marlborough in 1891. Rachel died in 1892 at
Hungerford.
There may be a male
child who married a woman called Constance but
this is only a guess on my part at the moment. I
am hoping a descendant might add to this line.
