Robert Hill Wyle & Susan Imrie

The Ashford Wyle's have a couple of Scottish connections. Robert Hill Wyle's brother died at Dalziel in Scotland. Robert himself  married a Scottish lassie called Susan Imrie and this is her family and how they fit in with Robert, therefore, connecting Scotland with anyone connected to the Ashford Wyle's.

3. SUSAN WILSON³ IMRIE (JOHN BRYSON², JOHN¹) was born 8 May 1870 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland¹. She married ROBERT HILL WYLE 24 December 1898 in The New Surrey Chapel, St Saviour, Southwark, London, son of WILLIAM WYLE and ANNIE PAINE. He was born June 1872 in Newmarket, Suffolk,, and died December 1949 in Birkenhead.

Child of SUSAN IMRIE and ROBERT WYLE is:

i. RUBY J C⁴ WYLE, b. Abt. 1901, Putney, London¹.

 

From further information now received, it is possible that Robert Hill Wyle emigrated to Australia. If this is the case then the one above cannot be the same. as I have him at Birkenhead in 1949. I hope this will be corroborated soon and I will update this information when I can confirm it.
