Where Next?

1901 - Where will the Ashford Wyle's turn up next?

In 1901, William Wyle, who is a Baptsist Minister, is at Salcombe in Devon. He has his daughter Eva with him. He died in Amesbury, Wiltshire, and this daughter married there. There is also a Mary aged 9 at Salcombe. As William seems to have been married more than once, this could be a child from a further marriage. There doesn't appear to be a wife here with them.

Arthur Wyle, who was born at Newmarket, turns up in Axminster, Devon on the 1901 Census. He is a grocers assistant aged 27. He is the one who died in Scotland and is confirmed as the son of William from his death certificate.

There was a family called Wyle at Dalziel and I think there has to be a family connection to them.

I shall be following this family up from the census in due course.

The fact that William died in Amesbury leads me to suspect that there was a family connection to the Wyle family of that area. There were Wyle's from there who turn up in London as well.
