SCOTLAND

The name of Wylie, and various spellings, are most common in Scotland. When looking for Wyle and versions, you should consider Wylie as an alternative for those who were born in Scotland. (e.g. on the censuses, where a Wyle appears as having been born in Scotland).

REGIONS

Each Country will been broken down into an area or region where the Wyle name appears.  For example, a known family of Wyle's appears in the southern, central part of England. Boundaries changed and they appear in various counties, so I have grouped them as being from the Amesbury area. I will do the same with each group.
