Shropshire Region

This county is where they Wyle's of Ashford in Kent have led back to. Some of this family ended up in the West Midlands due to a direct route. I would suggest trying some of the West Midlands families to see if you can find a connection. Go to Thomas Wyle, West Midlands.

I have now found William Samuel Wyle on the 1851 census and his family throws a couple of 'spanners in the work' (a spanner is a wrench for all USA folks)

This shows the family of John, Mary and William aged 1 year. It also shows that John was from Broseley, Shropshire. He was born about 1821 as he is 30 on this census. However, the ages on censuses are notorious for being incorrect.

I have only found two John's under the name of Wild and Wilde (here we go again) for 1820 and 1821 at Broseley. I am including as much information  as can be found for now. The marriage certificate for John and Mary will have to be found to see who John's father was.

Now we have gone back across the country to Broseley, which is on a direct road to Rowley Regis!!!!

NOTE:- There is another group of children listed by a member of the Latter Day Saints for a John Willie and Mary Hill but Mary would be very late 40's having children - not impossible - but the names seem to match other families, in particular one is Emma Keziah Wyle. The Amesbury group have Keziah as a name and it is a bible name. (Job had three daughter, Jemima, Keziah and Hannah - I think the last one was - just in case you wonder where it came from)

This is the other family who might fit the criteria.

Of course both of these could be incorrect. I noticed that there was also a Samuel Wild in the area. This is only speculation for now but it certainly sends us back across England!
