William Samuel Wyle was
born March 1850 in Willesborough, Kent and died at
Amesbury in 1919.
I have just found
some information. Wiltshire and East Somerset Baptist Association, date:
1919-1923, Account book, fund raised for the widow of Rev. W. Wyle, with
correspondence.
My hunch,
that William S Wyle was the one who died in Amesbury, was indeed correct.
Therefore, the marriage I found there must be that of his daughter.
He married (1) Charlotte
Swaffer March 1872 in West Ashford. She was born March 1846 in West Ashford,
and died March 1875 in West Ashford. He married (2) Annie Elizabeth Paine
in 1875 in West Ashford. She was born about 1844 in Great Chart, Kent, and died
in 1884 in West Ashford. He married (3) Mary Ann Buss in 1886 in West
Ashford. He married (4) Emma Dorman in 1889 in Maidstone, Kent. She was
born about 1859 in Orlestone, Kent, and died sometime after 1901.
Children of William Wyle and Charlotte Swaffer are:
Robert Hill Wyle, born 1872 at Newmarket, Suffolk. He died in 1949
in Birkenhead. He married Susan Wilson Imrie on 24th December 1898 at
The New Surrey Chapel, St Saviour, Southwark, London. She
was born 08 May 1870, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
Arthur John Wyle was born in 1873 at Newmarket and died 5th August
1905 at Dalziel, Scotland.
Eva Maylan Wyle was born in 1875 at West Ashford and was married
in 1911 at Amesbury, Wiltshire
Edwin Wyle was born in 1876 at West Ashford. He married Alice
Louise Durman in 1903 at Brentford and died in 1957. (She could actually be
a Dorman cousin)..
Child of William Wyle and Emma Dorman is:
Mary R Wyle, born about 1892 at Smarden, Kent and died sometime
after 1901.
