Margaret Busby 21st October 1852 in Parish Chapel, Brompton by Northallerton,

She was born about 1831 in Northallerton, York, and died 27th February 1891
in Stockton-on-Tees.
In 1841 George was at Butter
Hill, Middleton on Leven, Rudby in Cleveland, Yorkshire as a male servant.
In 1851 he was at Welbury and working as a Railway Labourer. On the 21 Oct
1852, he was a Labourer and living at Welbury. By 1861 he was at Yarm, Yorkshire and was a
platelayer, Railway. During 1871 he was at West Street, Yarm and remained as
a railway plate layer. By the time of the 1881 census he had moved to 5

the 13 Sep 1883 he was once again a Plate Layer and was still doing the same
job in 1891.
Both George and Margaret are
buried in Oxbridge Lane Cemetery, Stockton.
Children of George Mankin and Margaret Busby are:
John Mankin, born about 1854, Welbury, York and died at the latter
end of 1894 in Stockton. He married Martha Warrener in 1877 at Stockton.
George Henry Mankin was christened 30th
December 1856, Yarm, Yorkshire and died in the first quarter of 1857,
Stockton.

1859 at Yarm, Yorkshire and died before 1869.

was christened on
7th October 1863,
Yarm, Yorkshire.
George Henry Mankin
was born about 1869 at Yarm and died 10th March 1891 at Stockton-on-Tees.
It seems that this family
were rather unlucky in producing a son called George. The one who
survived childhood, didn't survive young adulthood. Margaret had a son
called George with Alex Meiklejohn, that baby never survived either.
